New Work (Finally)
I wanted to have so much more done by now this summer, but I've just recently gotten over a creative slump. I think I got a bit depressed after leaving Europe. It was such an amazing place, and while I was glad to come home, it would have been great to stay longer.
I had an idea for a new series based on realism, involving skeletons in place of people in everyday situations, but unfortunately...I can't draw skeletons well enough yet to pull it off. So I'll just draw from my model skeleton, maybe look into buying some anatomy books, and put that idea on the backburner for now.
Anyways, here's a finished painting called Invasion, a 24"x24" acrylic on Claybord.
And then there's this painting. Its an acrylic on canvas, also 24"x24". I don't know what to call it yet, and I'm not sure that its done. But I can't think of anything else to do to it right now. So any suggestions would be much appreciated.
